Why have I been asked to call you? Most people can get a quote online in minutes. If we’ve asked you to call us, it’s because something in your answers means we need to ask you a few more questions.
Why can't I select 'Other covers'? You can't select it if you're a landlord, or if the property you're insuring is a weekend or holiday home.
How many properties can I insure? You can insure up to five properties with us – one main home, three let properties and one weekend/weekday/holiday home.
How will making a claim affect my policy?
When you renew your policy, either with us or another provider, the cost of your insurance may increase as a result of the claim.
If you've built up a no-claim discount – only available with buildings and/or contents cover – and haven't protected it, you may lose some or all of it if you make a claim.
Our covers are all independent from one another, so if you make a claim on one, it won't affect any of the others.
I work from home – do I need to let you know?
You don’t need to tell us if you do computer or administrative work from home. Contents insurance covers your own home office equipment, like your computer, laptop or printer. It doesn't cover things like tools, stock or other equipment used for business purposes.
If you do other types of work from home, call us and we'll see whether we can insure you.
